ObJECTIVITY and LOYALTY- By Canice Dim

When your friend's mouth is smelling while he/she is talking in the midst of your friends,
And you tell him/her there in public,
"Friend, Your Mouth Is Smelling"
.
You re being OBJECTIVE!
.
But when your friend's mouth is smelling while he/she is talking in the midst of your friends,
And you let him/her to finish speaking,
Then you call him/her aside and say to them;
"Friend, it seems you didn't have a brush today, don't be close to the guys next time you wanna talk since u didn't brush... Let's save us some embarrassment"
.
Then, You re Being LOYAL!

It is not good to be utterly Objective
And it is not good to be blindly Loyal.
Strike a balance between both.
.
You can't win trust if you always insist on objectivity...
And in same vein, a blindly loyal person would be called an "Ass-Licker"
However, there should be a time you must support something, not because it is beautiful,
But because it is YOUR OWN.
.
Some of our mothers are not wonderfully good-looking.
Some of our Fathers are not well-to-do enough.
Some of our husbands are not the best.
Some of our wives may not measure up.
Some of our BF's and GF's may not be that awesome.
Our villages may not be that friendly.
Our tribes may be filled with bad eggs.
Our best-friends may be very badly-behaved.
.
But CommonSense requires us to know that we owe these special people and places in our lives our Loyalty.
When they go wrong,
We must criticize them in private with love.
But when they do right, we must praise them in public.
.
Talking bad about "your own" in public will make a stranger not to trust you.
Cos if you can't show loyalty to things that belong to you,
How much more to him that has no stake in you.

Loyalty is learnt !!!
Learn it...
Imbibe it...
.
Do not be deceived...
Objectivity is an ass - used by people when it favours them.
.
Be loyal to "your own" today,
Cos when the chips are down,
it is still "your own" that would have your back.
