this update is mainly directed to the ladies. Be very careful in dealing with some guys on the internet

Most of them claim to live abroad, working in a big company, with fake pictures of them that will make you believe the lies. They collect your number and of course will be calling you with international number. They will be quick in promising you marriage, and will be quick in introducing you to his fake family (mostly their fake mum). The fake family will of course be calling you on phone and will be in a hurry to say they want to meet you.

Ok, this is how the story will keep going till something will come up which requires you to urgently send money to of course his family with the promise he will send the money back to you once its dawn... And that is how your money will enter voicemail.

Their target are rich ladies, but they can still dupe poor you as well.

I have also seen a situation where the scammer didn't claim to be abroad, he said he stays in Lagos, travelled to the east to see the girl's parents and made declaration that he wants to marry the girl, he was given list and date for proper introduction.

Stayed few days in a hotel which the girl paid for because Oga claims he noticed his ATM can't work and it was weekend, he can't resolve the bank issue. Oga was suppose to travel to Akwa Ibom from there for official work, so bae paid for hotel where both had sex, and also gave him 30k with the promise from Oga that he will refund her once he gets back to Lagos and resolve his bank issue... Who wouldn't do that for a supposed fiance?

Oga travelled back, his line became switched off and he blocked bae on Facebook. What will bae cry for exactly? The sex? Her money? Or the fact that her parents have started telling people that their daughter will be getting married soon?
