Moment With Anita is One year today

I have always had passion for writing, learning and of course, I have always loved the internet. Those that know me very well knows how controversial I can be, but what most of them do not know is how very unserious I can be at the same time.

Due to how I write and the level of engagements my posts do attract, some of my friends were of the opinion that I should open a group or a fan page. I opened the first group "Gist Corner", but just like most groups, it flopped because I didn't have the basic knowledge of how to run a group.

After a few years, on August 18 2014 to be precise, I opened "Moment With Anita" group. The group was borne from a post I made that same day on my facebook wall regarding divorce, I tagged the post "Moment With Anita". I thought to myself that this title can make a good name for a facebook group... That was how "Moment With anita" came to be.

I wouldn't have made much progress if not for the kind of admins I had in the group, these admins are set of people who have same dream with me, and they do what they do with passion without considering the fact that they weren't being paid. Also, MWA made progress with the kind of members it has, sometimes I wonder if they are specifically picked for the group. The love and harmony that exist on MWA can not be over emphasised... MWA is like family to me.

MWA is a proof that Facebook can be turned into a citadel of learning instead of a place for jamboree. With lot of our educative programmes where people from different professions like doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, bankers, engineers, celebrities, etc come to enlighten/educate people. On MWA, we learn about cultures from different parts of the world, you do not need to travel to Jamaica to know their culture, you don't need to travel to Zambia to know their history... Our culture, our heritage, and our tradition programme does that magic. You don't have to go chatting to mingle with people, you have a better opportunity to do that in our Let's Get Personal programme and Family reunion programme. You don't have to waste your money going to a catering school, our Food friday does that for you for free. What about fashion? Our Fashion corner programme does the trick... Talking about football lovers, our saturday sports programme got it all. For laugh, you wouldn't want to Miss our Aproko Zone and Gossip Saloon, for stories, we have our Fictional Zone... MWA is thrilling.

Well, today marks the one year of existence of this wonderful group, today can not end without giving honour to those behind its progress so far;
