I just feel sad for this society where most men claim to be the head,wants to be recognized as the head everytime yet cannot own up to responsibilitie
With each passing day, women are stepping into men's shoes because instead of the men to get up and take responsibilitie
A marriage or relationship is failing, a woman has to put 5 times more effort than the man all because it is written somewhere that a wise woman builds her home,is it also written that her man stand aside and watch her build? Is it also written that the man keeps pulling down while she works like a deranged donkey trying to build her house?
Children go bad, the women get the blame. Even when the man goes bad, I mean a grown husband and father decided to act like a teenager, the wife still get the blame.. Who is the head here?
In this part of the world it's as if suffering equals to a good woman/wife. A woman get to wake up early do all the chores,prepare the kids for school, make breakfast and oga might be somewhere snoring then he gets up bath, eat and some good ones might drop the kids off to school others won't. And this woman still have to go to work, she gets home and wash the kids uniform, prepare dinner, clean the house while oga is watching football or reading newspapers.
Saturdays that she would have rested, oga packs out his dirty clothes which she has to wash, she cleans the house and the kids won't stop running around, where is oga? Oh somewhere with the boys or with a new catch.
It's just one crazy circle, our great grand fathers took after their fathers,our grand father took after them handed it down to our fathers then our sons are taking after them too.
Every day I hear boys whine about how our women always look older than their age, why won't they?
The men are flexing around, chasing small girls, abandoning their duties and responsibilitie
stress tell on her? Why won't she look old? And when the pressure gets to her and she starts to complain, oga sees that as an excuse to cheat or even beat her.
The bible calls women HELPMATES but these days I wonder if we are helpmates or the ones in charge.
Are you a man? Take charge,take responsibility,
Let's make the next generation better than this filth we see around.
