DEAR LADIES,
This update is strictly for you, do take your time and read it.
There is this scam in town, its not a new one because I have been hearing about it for a while. So many of you reading this may have fallen into such scam, and naturally, shame wouldn't allow you share it for others to learn from it.
A guy adds you up on Facebook, his profile says he is in the UK, US, and the rest of it. He starts sending you series of messages, he tells you he likes you and blablabla. He asks for your number and call you with a supposed international number.
Few weeks after you both became friends, he says he will be sending things to Nigeria, and will want to send you some things... As a typical Nigerian babe, you ask for human hair, designer's perfume, iphone6 and all the rest of it. He asks for your address, contact number you will be easily be reached with, nearest airport and the rest of it.
The next day he tells you that he couldn't send it through your nearest airport for some reasons he will fabricate, sends you clearance code for what he sent to you and the phone number of the agent you will collect all the goodies from.
You call the agent, he asks for your details and confirms he is with the goodies, but you have to send specific amount of money to his company account for the goodies to be sent to you. You contact the away guy to inform him, he tells you that's how its done. In order to persuade you to send the money to the agent, he tells you that he added some dollars or Euros to the goodies for you to take care of yourself... And as a greedy fellow you might be, you start remembering that a dollar is equal to N400 lol, then you run to go pay the agent.... Only for all the numbers not to be going again, goodies you didn't see, away guy blocks you on Facebook, agent's number no longer reachable and your money gone.
Like my brother will always say, "when something becomes too sweet, stop and scrutinise it because there is a problem". How can a guy you became friends with barely few weeks ago suddenly have this urge to send you things? Is that how he has been sending to every eve on his list?
You see, when you have never tasted lacasera, and they send you message that you won lacasera promo, then you jump up to go claim it... That is what the Oyibo man call greed, and its the only thing that can kill you.
Its easy to dictate these fraudsters, just that lot of us get too excited that they forget to think. Internet scammers don't always have patience, they want to hit you fast fast and move to the next person. So, my dear, both of you became friends today and he wants to send you things the next minute is a proof he is a scammer.
Once you have to send money to account before you even see what has been sent to you, its another proof that its scam... I have received parcels from abroad, I have never for once paid for delivery, and even if I have to pay, I must as a matter of fact see the parcel.
As for the international number he calls with, lol I dey laugh... Well, people live in Nigeria and use American number.
Don't fall victim, no man plucks money from tree that he goes around sending iphone6, human hair, etc to babes they just added few weeks ago... Father Christmas na fiction.
A word they say is enough for the wise abi na intelligent.
You wey Don hear, tell person wey never hear.
