I was dating this guy, we just finished school, no job yet but we needed to get something to provide us money. I noticed he is lazy or I should say that he doesn't have the spirit of hustling. He wishes that we get married and that's my dream too, but that can't happen without us having a source of income.
I started a job that pays a little that can help me take care of myself, but he couldn't get something. I tried persuading him into starting up a business, but he wasn't interested, I tried encouraging him to go into agriculture like fish farming or poultry farm since he already has knowledge about it, but he seems not to be interested. The only thing he seem to want is getting a white collar job which doesn't look like it will come by any moment soon.
With all sincerity, I really love him but I felt he needed a push, so I left him with the hope that he will try to prove me wrong that he can make out something for himself. I had in mind that my leaving him will push him to start working hard, but on the contrary it made him worst. The last time I saw him, he said my leaving him made him reluctant about getting something doing since to him I wasn't there anymore and there is no one to impress.
Now he feels I left him because he isn't rich not knowing I did it to push him, I thought my leaving him will make him work harder. I feel so bad at the moment.
